Hassell Free Exports, Inc.

Hassell Free has been supplying the Caribbean with yard lumber, structural lumber and plywood 1999.
Hassell Free Exports, Inc. supplies the Caribbean with its lumber needs. We export basic building lumber to homeowners and builders throughout the Caribbean.
One type of wood that is commonly used in Caribbean home building is pressure treated wood. Pressure treated wood has been used for over 70 years and is one of the most used building materials. Pressure treated lumber is typically a softwood lumber, such as southern yellow pine, that has been chemically treated to resist rot, decay and termites. The result is an exterior-grade wood that’s ideal for framing, decks and fences. Pressure treated wood is treated two ways, one for wood that will not once in contact with the ground, and the other for wood, such as posts, that require ground contact.
In addition to pressure treated wood, we also export plywood, yard and structural lumber in whatever size your building project requires. Plywood comes in a variety of grades, depending upon your intended use. Common yard lumber is suitable for construction and utility purposes, and is graded using a number classification. Structural lumber is heavily used in construction for finish work.
