Air Diaphragm Pumps

Air Diaphragm Pumps provide a cost effective mechanism to control the transfer of chemical solutions. By adjusting the air flow, the speed at which the chemicals are being pumped can be increased or decreased. Air Diaphragm Pumps are self-priming and can pump high viscosity solutions as well as some solids. This makes it ideal for use in waste treatment facilities.
Air Diaphragm Pumps are available in numerous sizes and materials. Inlet and outlet sizes range from 1/4" to 3" and flow rates from 0 to 255 gallons per minute. Diaphragms can be made out of Neoprene, Buna-N®, Nordel® (EPDM), Viton®, Santoprene®, Polyurethane, Hytrel® or PTFE Teflon®. Metal Pumps can be made out of Cast Aluminum, Cast Iron, Stainless Steel or Hastelloy-C.
Non-Metallic Pumps can be made out of Polypropylene, PVDF, Nylon and Conductive Acetal. To properly select a pump it is important to know the required flow rate, the chemical composition and temperature of the solutions being pumped, and the size of any solids that need to be pumped.
